A Rainy Day


A rainy day is a day when it rains almost all day long. A rainy day is dull and gloomy. The sky remains cloudy all day long. Some time it's rain cats and dogs. Sometime it's drizzles and sometimes
gusts of wind blow. The road goes under water. on this day people suffer a lot. Rickshaws and taxies
are not available. They demand high fare. On this day the poor sorrows knows no bound. They can't
go for their work.However, students enjoy a holiday at home. Many people go out for their work with
umbrella. A rainy day is a gala day for rich people. They stay at home and eat different kind of
delicious dishes. In spite of it, rainwater makes everything neat and clean. After rain, nature wears
a fresh look.

A gerund is a present participle (verb + ing) which works as a noun in a sentence.
