The Game I like Most

There are so many games and sports in the world. I like games and sports. The name of my favorite
game is cricket.

This game gives me more pleasure than any other game. So I like this game most. It is an outdoor
game. It is a very famous game. This game is played almost all over the world. There are two Teams
of cricket. Every team consists of 11 players. It is played for a very common aim of getting maximum
scores and number of runs by both teams. The team wins who get higher score in the end of match. 
There is an action center called pitch around which the game is played. It is played in the big open space. 

The one member of opposite team called bowler delivers a ball to the member of another team called
batsman. Bowler attempt to hit the ball away from the bat in order to take a wicket of  batsman. A batsman continues his batting until he gets out by bowler. Whoever team starts batting, continues the batting until his ten batsman become out or complete all the overs.

This game is a part of physical exercise. This game keeps us physically and mentally fit. We should
play this game regularly.

Basic Concept of Gerund, participle & Infinitive

A gerund is a present participle (verb + ing) which works as a noun in a sentence. A gerund can only function as a noun.  Example :  1.    Swimming is a good exercise. 2.    Teaching is a great profession. 3.    Chair- sitting is a funny game. 4.    Playing for this team is an honor. 5.    Sleeping at this hour of the day is not good for health.
