Past tense & Future tense

Past tense:  The past tense is a tense whose principle function is to place an action or situation in past time. past tense is differentiated in four categories. 1.indefinite, 2.continuous, 3.perfect and 4.perfect continuous.  Past indefinite:  Past indefinite tense is used to denote an action completed in the past or a past habit and result is not lasted.                                       Structure: Subject+ past form of main verb+ Object                                        Example:  I ate rice.                                                         He went to Dhaka. Past continuous:  Past continuous tense is used when the action was continued for some time in the past.                                   Structure:  Subject+ was/were+ ing form of main verb+ Object                                     Example:  He was walking there.                                                       They were playing Cricket. Note: If the subject is a first person or a third person

Tense

Tense:  Tense is the concept of time. In English grammar tense is used to refer to time of an action or event. Tense can be differentiated into three categories.                                                                                          1.  present tense,                                                                                          2. past tense,                                                                                           3. future tense And all of these tense are differentiated into four categories. 1. indefinite, 2. continuous, 3. perfect, 4.perfect continuous. Present t ense: The present tense is a tense whose principle function is to locate a situation or event in the present time. present indefinite:  present indefinite tense is used when an action is happening right now or when it happens regularly.                          Structure:  Subject+ Main verb+ Object                           Example:  I eat rice.
