Parts of speech

Every words which are using in a sentence is called parts of speech. There are mainly eight kinds of parts of speech.  1.Noun, 2.Pronoun, 3.Adjective, 4.Verb, 5.Adverb, 6.Preposition, 7.Conjunction,
8.Interjection.

Noun: A place,person,quality or act etc are nouns.
Examples: Sumon, Padma, Dhaka, London, kindness
Example sentence: Sumon lives in Paris.              

Pronoun: The word which replaces a noun or noun phrase is called pronoun.
Examples: He, She, I, You etc.
Example sentences: Sumon is tired. He wants to sleep      

Adjective: a word which describes a noun is called adjective.
Example: Happy, Young, little, green etc.
Example sentence: David is a little boy.  

Verb:  A word which shows an action is called verb.
Example: Come, go, listen, speak, write, walk etc.
Example sentence: I go to school.

Adverb: A word that describes a verb is called adverb.
Example: Carefully, Usually, Quickly etc.
Example sentence: He came here quickly.

Preposition: The word which describes a relationship between a noun and noun,verb or adverb is called preposition.
Example: In, on, with, by, at, above etc.
Example sentences: The book is on the table. 

Conjunction: The word that joins two words, phrases or clauses is called conjunction.
Example: And, so, but, unless etc.
Example sentence: The man is poor but honest.

Interjection: A word that expresses a strong feeling or emotion is called interjection.
Example: Oh! wow! etc.
Example sentence: Wow! it's a nice place.
