Cyclone is a natural disaster. cyclone means a kind of moving storm. The word "cyclone" is actually derived from the Greek word 'Cyclos' a circle which means whirlwind.Cyclone erupts with a terrifying energy. It is accompanied by thunder, lighting and rain. cyclone can disrupt many worldly things in a very few time. It is usually caused due to extreme heat of the sun in summer, which vaporizes the air of the lower attitude and causes a depression on the seas. many countries of the world suffer a lot of damages every year due to cyclone. Many people lost their house due to cyclone. There becomes crisis of food due to cyclone. we can take some necessary steps to prevent the detriment of cyclone. One of the most successful means of reducing loss of human lives during cyclones is the provision of cyclone Shelters. In densely populated coastal areas, where large scale evacuations are not always feasible, community buildings and buildings used for gathering of large number of persons, like schools, hospitals, prayer halls etc. can be used as a cyclone shelter. There must be enough reserve of food for the people. Thus everyone should be prepared before the cyclone started.
