Subject: Prayer for a seat in school hostel.

Sir,
I am a regular student of your school in class 10. My father Has recently transferred to Khulna from Dhaka. So my all family members will be shifted there. But I want to continue my study here. I have no relative here. So I need a seat in our school hostel.

I therefor, pray and hope that you will allow me for a seat in our school hostel and oblige thereby.

A gerund is a present participle (verb + ing) which works as a noun in a sentence.
