An adjective can exist in three forms. 1.Positive, 2.Comparative, 3.Superlative

 Positive degree: The form of an adjective which depicts a noun or pronoun's quality, flaw or state is called positive degree.
     Example:  1. Raju is a good boy
                       2. No other boy in the class is as tall as he.

Comparative degree: The form of adjective which compares two nouns or pronouns quality, flaw or state is called comparative degree.
     Example: 1. Hasan is better than his cousin.
                      2. She is more beautiful than any other girl in the class.

Superlative degree: The form of adjective which is used to compare among many is called superlative degree.
      Example: 1. It is the most important topic of this subject.
                       2. He is the best boy in the class.

Rules of changing forms of degree 

 Superlative to Positive: 1. If you need to transfer from superlative to positive then the structure of below will be followed.
 No other+ Object+ Verb+ as+ positive form+ as+ Subject.
    Example: She is the best student in our class.
                 => No other student in our class is as good as she.

 2. If there is ''One of the'' in a sentence then this structure will be followed.  Very few+ Object(plural)
+ Verb(plural)+ as+ Positive form+ as+ Subject.
     Example: He is one of the best boy in the class.
                  => Very few boys in the class are as good as he.

Comparative to positive: 1. If there is a word "than" in a sentence then the structure of the below will be followed.
 Object+ auxiliary verb+ not+ main verb+ as+ positive form+ as+ subject
   Example: She is more beautiful than her sister.
               => Her sister is not as beautiful as she.

 2. If there is "Than any other" in a sentence then the structure of below will be followed.
 No other+ Object+ verb+ as+ positive form+ as+ Subject.
     Example: The Padma is larger than any other river in Bangladesh.
                 => No other river is as large as the Padma in Bangladesh.

 3. If there is "Than most other" in a sentence then the structure of below will be followed.
 Very few+ Object(plural)+ verb(plural)+ as+ positive form+ as+ subject
     Example: Truthfulness is greater than most other virtue.
                 => Very few virtues are as great as truthfulness.

Superlative to Comparative:  1.If you need to change the form superlative to comparative then the structure of below will be followed.
 Subject+ verb+ comparative form+ than+ any other+ Object.
      Example: It is the most difficult task.
                  => It is more difficult than any other task.

 2. If there is "one of the" in a sentence then this structure will be followed. Subject+ verb+ comparative form+ than most other+ object
     Example: The cow is one of the most useful animal.
                 => The cow is more useful than most other animal.
