Bangladesh is a developing country. It became independent by a bloody war in 1971. After independent Bangladesh has achieved many success. Padma bridge is one of the greatest achievement of our country. The official name of Padma bride is "Padma multipurpose bridge". it is a multipurpose road-rail bridge across the Padma river. This bridge connects Munshiganj district to Shariatpur and madaripur, linking the south- west of the country to northern and eastern regions. Padma multipurpose bridge is considered as the most challenging mega project in the history of Bangladesh. Padma bridge consists of 41 spans. The length of padma bridge is 6.15 Kilometers. The two level steel truss bridge carries a four lane highway on the upper level and a single track railway on the lower level. Padma bridge will play a vital role in the economy of our country. It is padma bridge which is our pride.

A gerund is a present participle (verb + ing) which works as a noun in a sentence.
